Did you know that 1 in 13 children in the US are living with life-threatening food allergies? For these children and their families, celebrating Halloween can be very challenging and disappointing. Many treats contain allergens, and cross-contamination can limit the types of activities they can participate in.

That’s why we’re raising funds to host the second annual Capital District Teal Pumpkin Party: a free, allergen-friendly Halloween celebration that focuses on FUN for children ten and younger at the Greenbush Area YMCA on Saturday, October 21, 2023.

We believe that every child should have the opportunity to celebrate Halloween without the stress and worry of a potential allergic reaction. Your donation will help us create a safe and inclusive space where children can participate in every game, craft, or activity alongside their peers.
