Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston demonstrates the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel in a loving, confidential atmosphere. We are committed to upholding the truth that God creates human life in His image at conception.

Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston has two locations, one in Champions and the other in Cypress.  We are celebrating 30 years in ministry as a 501(c)3 organization.  In that time, we have served over 31,000 women from our community.

Our vision is for us to live in a community where all women choose life.

My Care Net Story

I've been volunteering with Care Net Pregnancy Center for over 20 years now!   I'm so committed to Care Net that although we moved to The Woodlands, I still drive to Cypress each week.  It's such a joy to sit knee to knee with young women in our community who are facing an unplanned pregnancy, to hear their story and offer them hope.  Care Net has so many resources and places to refer women for help, so we're able to reassure them that they are not alone in this journey to motherhood.

I love being able to offer godly wisdom and to share the gospel.  Personally, I love sharing Psalm 139 reminding the girls, God SEES their baby and KNEW about their baby from the beginning of time. :15-16 "My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be."  It's such a sweet and emotional time when they realized God has his eye on not just their baby but on them too.

 This past year, I have been Care staff inside the Ultrasound room as well and what a exciting, joyful time to share the first glimpse of their baby. It makes such a difference to see the baby and actually see the heart beating so fast!

Throughout 2020, Care Net remained opened with a limited staff but continued to see clients for Pregnancy Tests, Ultrasounds and Maternity Lending. We revamped our Life Enrichment Program from in-person classes to On-Line only, to provide the parents with informative videos in all areas of having a baby and raising them in a healthy way, and many other subjects to make the parents better prepared! The parents earn points that they are able to go to our Baby Boutique to 'purchase' new baby items including diapers, wipes, clothing and even if they earn enough, a brand new crib for their little one.

This is one of 4 rooms where we meet privately with each young lady. A place where tender conversations are held, some from a place of concern and some of pure joy to confirm their pregnancies. Equally as important, a place to share Christ with them and the Good News!

Maternity Lending

Our clients can come 'shopping' for their maternity needs. These clothes are donated, cleaned and ironed by one of our dedicated volunteers.

Baby Boutique
Baby Boutique

Through our Life Enrichment Program (LEP) the parents can earn Baby Bucks by watching a a variety of subject to prepare them for baby's' arrival. They are able to 'purchase' baby items, diapers, wipes and even get a brand new crib. My favorite is to 'gift' them with a beautiful crocheted or quilted blanket (handmade by wonderful ladies) to congratulate the new parents.

A special place for the Moms and Dads to see a first glimpse of their sweet baby and their heart beating so fast. As Care Staff, we get to assist our nurse and how fun to share those moments.
