Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston demonstrates the love of Christ to those facing a pregnancy decision through the provision of spiritual, physical, emotional and educational support and by proclaiming the Gospel in a loving, confidential atmosphere. We are committed to upholding the truth that God creates human life in His image at conception.
Care Net Pregnancy Center of Houston has three locations, one in Champions, one in Cypress, and one in Humble. We are celebrating 33 years in ministry as a 501(c)3 organization. In that time, we have served over 37,000 women from our community.
Our vision is for us to live in a community where all women choose life.
I initially got involved with Care Net Pregnancy Center in 2011 because I wanted to help other women not make the same decision that I had at the young age of 14. After coming to Care Net I learned about their post abortion Bible study and it transformed my life. Even though I had become a Chrisitan I still carried so much shame about my past abortion. The Bible study helped me apply God’s word to my life and to receive Christ’s forgiveness for my sin.
After I finished the Bible study, I became a facilitator and served in the post abortion ministry for 10 years. During that time, I also joined the staff as the business admin for a few years while pursuing my masters in Biblical counseling. I eventually reached that educational goal and left to pursue licensure. Last year I had the privilege of joining the board of directors as the treasurer. It is my joy to continue to serve at Care Net and to be a part of Saving Lives Today…and for Eternity.
