An Evening with the Carlsons is a cozy fundraising gathering at the picturesque Copper Ridge Inn and Market. The event starts at 5 p.m. with heavy hors d’oeuvres, hot chocolate and baked goods, followed by a fireworks display at 6:30 p.m. Proceeds will support programs and services for children’s health at Bronson practices and Bronson Children’s Hospital, which serve patients and families throughout southwest Michigan and northern Indiana.

Copper Ridge Inn and Market is located at 34460 96th Ave. in Lawton. This is just east of Carlson Farms where the annual Farm to Table dinner is held.

“This is going to be such a fun way to connect in the wintertime. There’s nothing like friendships new and old, good food, a colorful night sky, and supporting a great cause. They all warm the heart!” – Karen Carlson

Carlson Farms is a working farm owned by Norm and Karen Carlson. The farm has cattle, chickens, hogs, and sheep to take care of, which means there are no days off. It is owned and run by family. In fact, they like to think of the entire farm as a family: the angus-hereford cows and calves, the happy hogs, the gossipy ol' laying hens, the various critters adopted into the Carlson household, and even the little tree frog in their backyard! They are all "Carlsons". It's a name they take great pride in and a name they hope you grow to know and trust.

Carlson Farms hosts its very own market, known as "Copper Ridge Market.” The market carries Carlsons’ own line of pork, beef, lamb and chicken and eggs. Inside the market is Karen Sue’s Bakery and Café, which serves a wide assortment of baked goods, as well as a full breakfast menu on Saturdays.

Next to the market is the Copper Ridge Inn, which is an AirBNB for families and friends to rest and relax. The Inn features Amish craftsmanship throughout. There is also is an event space at the Inn for small gatherings.
