For over 3 years The Improvement Store has donated a percentage of our net profits each month to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina. We believe no family should have to go hungry. We are inspired by the continued effort of the Second Harvest Food Bank in combating hunger within our community, and we know that during these trying times more families have been increasingly in need of help. We are asking our community to join us in the fight of defeating hunger by donating anything you can to the Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest North Carolina.

Virtual Drive Participation Policy

Every day, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northwest NC helps local families in need of food assistance working with 460+ on-the-ground partner programs serving 18 Northwest North Carolina counties. Each time you participate in a Virtual Drive, you entrust Second Harvest to direct your gifts to where they are needed most. This includes, but it not limited to, the purchase of food items needed by our partner network members, such as, but not limited to, the representative items on this website.
