Mark started riding at Carousel Ranch when he was barely three years old. At that time, he was having frequent seizures, had lost all language skills, could not sit or hold his head up for long periods of time, and seemed completely in a world of his own. On day one, they had him standing on the back of the horse, attempting to throw a ball, and smiling ear to ear! He is now 16, and to be around him, you would never guess he is the same boy. His improvement is largely due to the care and expertise of those at the ranch. When he was undergoing many hours of therapy a week, this didn’t seem like therapy at all - it was FUN!! (And still is!) We are eternally grateful to Carousel Ranch for all they have done (and continue to do) for us.
