Hi, I'm Sophie!

My older Sister Lilly is a Cancer survivor and she is my best friend. She has had to have a lot of scary things happen to her to be able to keep living. She is a nice and funny person and I know Childrens cancer connection has helped her be happy, be a kid, and go to camp when she said she didn't get to do kid things like her friends. Lilly goes to a lot of doctors. She gets to go to camp and be with kids who understand her and I get to go to camp with kids who all have sisters and brothers who have cancer. I like camp because I can say how I feel and run around crazy and everyone is the same. Camp is my favorite week of the year. I would rather go to camp than Disney World. Please Donate so we can have camp or please buy one of my paintings and I will donate all the money to camp!

*Every year since 1988 Children's Cancer Connection has been dedicated to providing week long residential camp for children diagnosed with cancer living or treated in the state of Iowa. We also provide an identical week of camp for siblings of children diagnosed. At Children's Cancer Connection we believe in serving the entire family, for the entire journey! No one is ever charged any amount to come to camp and we work year round to make sure we can provide a magical experience for our campers!


