Overview
Adaptive Awareness Day is a fundraising event held at China Peak Mountain Resort to benefit the Central California Adaptive Sports Center (CCASC), a nonprofit organization that brings outdoor adventure programs to persons with disabilities. Funds raised will help provide year-round adaptive recreation and adventure programming, enriching the lives of our participants.
Ways to Participate
1) Join us March 23 (9:30a-4:30p) at China Peak for a fun-filled ski/snowboard day. Wear a costume, make new friends, and enjoy the snow at China Peak. The day will include time to ski on the mountain, search for hidden treasure, sell raffle tickets, and an after-party! Registered participants may purchase $33 lift tickets and will receive FREE pizza and a drink at the end of the day! Groups/teams are welcome.
2) Fundraise online for CCASC (Feb 2 - March 30): Sign up to fundraise from home and receive your own fundraising page. You can then promote fundraising via email, social media, you name it! You won't believe how easy it is to rally support for CCASC!
3) Both! Enjoy a day on the mountain and fundraise from home through March 30th.
Prizes
You can win great prizes for raising the most funds, having the best costume (adult male/female, kids, and group), and for locating the treasure vouchers that will be hidden around the mountain. Other great prizes will also be raffled off at the after-party. Prizes include backpacks, ski gloves, CCASC hoodies, snow jackets, new skis, and a China Peak season pass.
Important note to our amazing adaptive athletes: CCASC will not be open for lessons on the day of the event.
