On July 25th I will be running the Queens half marathon. Since I will be running this race I thought it would be a great opportunity to raise awareness and fundraise for a cause near and dear to my heart . 
Phelan Mcdermid Syndrome. Many of you probably never heard of this . It wasn't until our nephew  John was diagnosed that we heard of this either . John was misdiagnosed for years with other developmental delays it wasn't until he received genetic testing that his family knew he had this. Since then their family and friends have been trying to raise awareness and fundraise to help those effected . 
John faces challenges everyday but his ability to overcome them are amazing ! John is a sweet, funny, loving boy. To know him is to love him?

It is my hope that through any money I raise more research could be done to help learn more and help anyone effected by Phelan Mcdermid Syndrome. 
I will run this race for John ? and all effected by this syndrome . Please help me reach my goal ! No amount is too small !
