The Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation has made significant progress this year. Thanks to funds raised by generous donors like you, PMSF has been able to grow its staff, provide additional family support, and support much needed research. Below are a few of the accomplishments from the past year:

• Neuren Pharmaceuticals has completed a Phase 1 clinical trial and istarted a Phase 2 clinical trial in PMS participants
• Jaguar Gene Therapy Will Target SHANK3 for Gene Therapy in PMS
• PMSF-funded Young Investigator Award Focused on Neuropsychiatric Illness in PMS
• Family Support Specialist Hired
• Virtual Conference Help Throughout the Year
• New definition for Phelan-McDermid Syndrome was published
