Welcome to the Buster and the Banshee Walt Disney World Four Park Character Meet Challenge to raise awareness for the Phelan-McDermid Syndrome Foundation.

The challenge will take place on FRIDAY JUNE 30th!!!

Our daughter ("Little Banshee") is one of the few thousand people have Phelan-McDermid Syndrome.  P-MS is a rare genetic disorder that is caused by a deletion of part of the 22nd chromosome.  While symptoms can vary from person to person, people with P-MS can have autism, low muscle tone, seizure disorder, limited verbal speech, and other developmental and intellectual delays.

One of our family's favorite activities is to visit Walt Disney World.  It is one of the few places that we can all experience together as a family.  We were trying to decide on a fun activity to do as a "challenge" at WDW.  Because Little Banshee enjoys meeting characters, we thought that we would see how many different Disney characters that we could meet in a day.  Thus, the Walt Disney World Four Park Character Meet Challenge was born!
