According to Zoo Miami you are not allowed to brinng pets. Service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are welcomed

(While Emotional Support Animals or Comfort Animals are often used as part of a medical treatment plan as therapy animals, they are not considered service animals under the ADA).

This is an event to support Caring for Miami. Unfortunatly this is a serperate ticketed even for you and your family to participate in as we Walk to Care for Miami.

We recommend you arrive no later than 7:30 am.

Those who choose to run the course will go ahead and start at 8:15 am, and the rest of the attendees will start at approximately 8:30 am. 

Yes! We will have that avalible for you to pick up your Swag bag the Thursday and Friday efore the event day, that way you have all the items needed for day of at your conveience. 

Each person that signed up for the event will receive a Swag Bag. You will have a draw-string bag, a shirt, a sticker hunt pack, and a few informational items.

After the walk we will gather together at our designated meeting site and celebrate comming together to Care For Miami. Afterwards we will have some booths you can visit from some of our Sponsors and Donors and then enjoy the rest of your day at the zoo.

All event attendees can park right by Asia Field, This is located on the left side when driving into the Zoo. It is located inbetween the Main Entrance and Biotech.

Yes! Registration is open! You can register till the morning of the event either online or at registration area.

While this isn't a true/traditional 5k event, if you choose to run you will have a seperate start time prior to those who choose to walk the event.

Please note that your time will not be tracked, other than if you choose to track your own time.

Please plan accordingly to have your child with you. We will not provide child care.
