I’m so excited to be back for the Chapel Hill 2026 Kids Triathlon! This race is a huge deal to me, and this year, I have two very different goals.

The Personal Challenge

If you saw me last year, you know I had the biggest smile of any racer on the entire course. But you might also know that I spent... a lot... of time in the changing station. I think I may have set a record for the longest transition in triathlon history! So, for 2026, my athletic goal is simple: Spend less time changing than actually racing.

Why This Matters

On a serious note, I am racing for something much bigger than a finish time. I care about supporting kids with cancer because a student at my school—who used to run in this exact race—passed away from cancer two summers ago. I’m on Team Brij to honor his memory and to help other kids get the support they need. So my other goal is to fundraise for JUST TRYAN IT. Every donation—big or small—helps me reach my goal and directly impacts this important cause.
