Just a reminder that the two Furnish Chairity Event starts November 2nd at 2 pm for silent auction and real time virtual party on this Thursday the 5th from 5-6:30.

We are fortunate enough to be involved with 2 teams!

Viridian Wood and Kirei have generously donated their time and energy over the last 2 months to help create the visions of TEF and ASD|SKY.

To donate you can use the team links above or the Give To Chairity link below, and select Viridian or Kirei Team to donate on behalf of, or you can use my page that I have with Viridian.

You’ll be able to choose the charity you want to donate to from a drop down list.

The silent auction will be run starting today through 32 Auction website, you’ll need to create an account to bid.

Ours are #2 a Kinetic art sculpture (You Tube video link) made with EchoPanels and #23 a swiss army inspired bench called Chaise Arme’e, made from reclaimed douglas fir. The bottle opener was my idea ?.

For the past six years, two has hosted an event called Chairity, created to bring the design community together to up-cycle furniture (typically chairs) to help raise money for local non-profits.  

This year, we’re changing up the format a bit. We aren't taking the "chair" out of "Chairity," but we are making it more open-ended. Knowing that it will be a challenge to be in person, we're taking a new approach. Keeping the tradition of bringing together the design community, we decided to officially expand it to include our manufacturer partners. In past years, design teams have often collaborated with local makers to create their chairs. For Chairity 2020, we'd like to celebrate this collaboration and support our maker community by pairing 30 design teams with 30 manufacturers to develop an auction piece together.  

Though the format is different, the mission remains the same: coming together to give back to our local community through creativity and design thinking.
