Bringing together great design from Northern and Southern California, ASD I SKY (San Francisco) and Kirei (San Diego) are joining forces as team Kinecho for this year's Chairity competition!
TEAM KINECHO presents a dynamic, kinetic work of ART, one meant to be enjoyed TWOgether while keeping a safe distance apART.
Conceptually, the profile faces speak to togetherness and diversity, while rotating and seemingly in constant conversation with one another.
The individual panels, manufactured with leftover materials from Kirei’s EchoPanel line rotate on two planes, overlapping to create a new image every time you glance. Powered by a wall mounted display motor with no batteries needed. The interaction makes a complete rotation three times a minute, keeping interest in the ever changing landscape. The EchoPanel construction is acoustically absorbent, and will help dampen room reverberation, improving home teleconference acoustics.
Practical use: EchoPanels provide acoustic absorption which is a benefit to any space. Especially during the times when we all rely on zoom/conference calls for personal and business communication.
