AJ and I (extremely proud and awe-struck parents of Rory) truly could not have imagined how amazing parenthood would be. Rory entered our world and everything changed in an instant. We are enamored by him and feel lucky for all of the happiness and laughter he brings us every single day. Our hearts are open to relish every joy and face every challenge, knowing that we will experience them together as a family unit and with support from our community of loved ones.

Rory was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect (Tetralogy of Fallot) at five weeks old and has had a truly remarkable recovery after his open heart surgery on March 20, 2024. The time leading up to the big day, and the time at the hospital during surgery and the following recovery was the hardest thing AJ and I have ever done, but Rory was truly the most incredible warrior and showed us how strong he is.

We have learned so much as parents, but most importantly — staying present in the moments where you are laughing, smiling, and snuggling with your little one will help you face anything that comes your family’s way. We love you, Rory — a thousand giggles and kisses a day!!!
