Walking for Maverick • Fighting for Hearts

We walk in memory of our beautiful son, Maverick, who was born with a congenital heart defect (CHD). Though his time here was far too short, Maverick continues to leave a lasting impact. His strength, light, and love guide us every day. It is in his honor that we continue this mission.

Last year, with the help of our incredible community, we raised over $10,000 for The Children’s Heart Foundation. Every dollar went toward funding life-saving research that helps babies like Maverick, and children and adults living with CHDs, have a fighting chance.

Every 15 minutes in the U.S., a baby is born with a CHD, the most common birth defect. The Congenital Heart Walk fuels research that advances early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. This work gives hope to families, and that hope means everything.

This year, we walk again for Maverick, for every heart warrior, and for a future where fewer families have to experience loss. Whether you choose to donate, walk beside us, or simply share our story, you are helping us make a real and lasting difference.
