OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center: Walking for Children with Congenital Heart Disease

Every year, thousands of children are born with congenital heart disease (CHD)—the most common birth defect worldwide. These children and their families face challenges that extend beyond surgery and hospital stays. They require long-term care, compassion, hope, and community.

At OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center (HMC), we are proud to be part of a healthcare system that provides exceptional care for patients and families impacted by CHD. As a community hospital with deep ties to the OHSU academic health system, we bridge cutting-edge medicine with local, community-based care. Families in our region benefit from advanced diagnostics, multidisciplinary expertise, and continuity of care close to home.

This year, our team at OHSU Hillsboro Medical Center is joining the Congenital Heart Disease Walk to raise awareness and support our community.
