I want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit my fundraising page.

Isaac is my five year old nephew who happens to have half of a heart.  Diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome prenatally, Isaac has endured three open heart surgeries, a bonus airway surgery, three cardiac catherization procedures, and endless doctors appointments, therapies, and medical testing.  Despite all that he has been through, he continues to overcome each challenge with a positive attitude, and we have enjoyed seeing him run, play and keep up with his peers this past year after his last surgery.

Although Isaac has finished his cardiac surgical path, the reality is that his body is still functioning with half of a working heart.  Our family supports the mission of the Children's Heart Foundation so that we can offer Isaac and his heart warrior peers the opportunity to live long and healthy lives.  We must invest in cutting edge congenital heart disease research.

It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward the next 30 years of hope. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation's crucial mission—advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before.
