Get excited for the Chicago Congenital Heart Walk! What to expect? 

  1. Enjoy granola bars, fruit, chips, and water that has been provided complimentary
  2. Want more food options? Enjoy the food trucks on site, including Travelin Tom's Coffee and Kona Ice
  3. A beautiful remembrance of our Heart Angels, including seed paper that you can take hope and plant in their memory.
  4. Meet mascots, characters, and more! Who might you see? Star Wars characters, Princesses, throw back cartoon characters, and our very own HEARTY! 
  5. Get crafty with card making and mask decorating.
  6. Dance to the music provided by Forever Young DJs
  7. Remarks from Heart Warrior and Heart Angel families, plus a medical professional from Presenting Sponsor, Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago

Our Congenital Heart Walk brings heart families, survivors, and supporters together for a meaningful one-mile walk—honoring Heart Warriors we’ve lost and celebrating those still fighting. It’s a family-friendly day of connection, remembrance, and hope, showing that no one faces CHDs alone.

For 30 years, The Children’s Heart Foundation has funded research that has driven breakthrough advances that are saving lives, improving outcomes, and helping children with CHD grow up to chase their dreams. Every grant brings hope. Every discovery gives families more moments together.
