Thank you for taking the time to learn more about CHD and the Children's Heart Foundation. We are incredibly grateful for the care Bo continues to receive and that the CHD community continues to make incredible strides in outcomes for kids. However, there is a long way to go. CHD is the most common cause of infant deathdue to birth defect, and the effort is severely underfunded relative to many others (raising less than a quarter of the funds allocated to pediatric cancer, for example).
The annual walk is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation's crucial mission —advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research that improves survival rates, reduces complications, and helps Heart Warriors celebrate more birthdays than ever before.
