Did you warn me that Chicago is cold, ask why I would leave NYC for a colder city, or only willing to visit me during summer months? Well, it seems I am less averse to the cold than you, but let me prove it!
On Sunday, March 5, 2023 I will be participating in the 2023 Chicago Polar Plunge, celebrating more than 20 years of plunging! I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump in to Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of athletes that participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
