Hope this finds everyone keeping well.
As many of you know, I am a proud Board Member of Special Olympics Chicago and Special Children’s Charities, and on Sunday March 5th I will be doing the Polar Plunge to raise money for this great charity and cause. The 2023 Chicago Polar Plunge is back at North Avenue Beach on Chicago’s beautiful yet chilly lakefront.
This will be my 9th year in a row Polar Plunging to raise money for Special Olympics :) In the world we live in today this cause embraces diversity and inclusion to bring people together in so many positive and inspiring ways!!!
More than 7,500 individuals enjoy sports training and competition in 22 sports along with other important activities every week year-round... All funds raised will benefit the athletes, covering vital program costs such as transportation, sports equipment, team uniforms, meals etc.
