On Sunday, March 3rd, 2024, I will participate in the 2024 Chicago Polar Plunge, which is one of the largest and exciting fundraising events of the year! There are many reasons why I’m plunging again this year. The first reason is because this year alone, Special Olympics Chicago has given me the opportunity to participate in my first half-marathon, which was both an awesome and tiring experience. Also, Special Olympics treats me like family, which allows me to be myself without getting bullied for the way I am. Another reason I am asking you to support me and Special Olympics is because it brings the best out of me and out of everyone that participates, including the athletes, coaches and volunteers. I am very proud to be a Special Olympics athlete, and I hope to continue to do it for years to come!
