Hi Parker's Party!
Sunday is the big day and we are so excited to plunge with all of you! Thank you for being part of Parker's Party!! Below are a few important details about the day!
The registration packets will be picked up by Grace Sadowski tomorrow (Saturday) morning, if anyone signs up after today they will have to pick up their own registrations on Sunday morning before the plunge. We will pass out bracelets/registrations at Barney Callaghan's before leaving. We will meet at Barney Callaghan's(10618 S. Western Ave) anytime after 8:15am. Please be sure to be there no later than 9:15 for a group picture at 9:30 before we leave. There will be additional Parker’s Party gear to purchase at Barneys, if you are interested. There will be four buses departing from Barney Callaghans at 10am. We will have bus captains for each bus. Our plunge time is 11am. We will be back at Barneys around 12:15 for an afternoon celebration. Pizza will be delivered for lunch (kids are welcome until 4pm) We do have a "Parker's Party" tent down at the beach. We will be directed to where it is when we arrive. This will be our home base to keep our things.
A few helpful tips for the day:
Everyone must wear shoes or swim shoes. (bring an extra pair of shoes, socks, and all clothing items to change into after plunging) Wear the least amount of clothes plunging (no big sweatpants/sweatshirts) Shorts/leggings, and a t-shirt is best. A towel is provided, but bring a towel or big blanket to dry off. Bring a garbage bag to put all wet clothes in after plunging. Bring big comfy clothes to change into. It’s a great idea to bring a sheet to use as a changing station. After plunging we will all meet back at the Parker’s Party tent before getting back onto the buses. If you don’t have Parker’s Party gear and want to purchase some please let us know, if not, we encourage you to wear the brightest colors you have.
We are inching closer and closer to our fundraising goal of $25,000! Please do one final push to family, friends, and employers to help us reach our goal. Please do not stress if you did not meet your fundraising goal! Please reach out to Rich, Kerry or Grace if you have any questions or concerns!
