Hello Family and Friends,
We will be participating in the Chicago Polar Plunge on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.
We are doing this plunge to raise awareness about Rett Syndrome in support of our favorite little warrior, June Brooks.
Rett syndrome is a rare genetic neurological disorder that affects 1 in 10,000 females and begins to display itself in missed milestones at 6-18 months. Rett syndrome leads to developmental regression and severe impairments, affecting nearly every aspect of life: ability to speak, walk, eat and have purposeful hand use. Unfortunately, there is no cure for this disease, therefore we need to continue to spread awareness.
