As you probably know, Special Olympics is close to my heart and over the years (with many of your help) I've been able to raise over $22K for the Chicago & Bozeman chapters.

My Purpose: 

Kirsten came into my life when I was 16 years old and my life has since changed for the better!  We started our friendship by hanging out every day during the summers from High School and into my college years. Our adventures would include going to the swimming pool, going to Special Olympics and S.O.A.R. activities and practices, building scrapbooks and crafts, going to the zoo and museums, hanging out with friends/my family for shopping or lunch trips and even horse riding lessons! That blossomed into a lifelong friendship through moves, job changes, a pandemic and her standing by my side as a bridesmaid in Andrew and I's wedding. 

From the very beginning, this hard working, Cardinal baseball enthusiast, dancing queen, Disney loving, smiling woman has made me want to be a better person and work hard to support organizations that have brought so much joy and confidence to her life. Thanks Special Olympics for giving athletes the ability to learn, grow and achieve new goals through your programs!

On Sunday, March 3, 2024 Andrew and I will participate in the 2024 Chicago Polar Plunge, one of the city's most popular winter fundraising events!  I am excited to take on the challenge of the Chicago Polar Plunge and jump into Lake Michigan’s chilly waters to support thousands of Chicagoans who participate in Special Olympics Chicago/Special Children’s Charities programs. With your support, people with intellectual disabilities have the opportunity to discover new strengths, abilities, and accomplishments.
