Cancer has deeply affected our family, as it has countless others around the world. Watching loved ones battle this disease has left a lasting mark on us, fueling our desire to contribute to the fight against cancer. This personal connection along with our deep belief in the power of scientific research is what led us to get engaged in the Israel Cancer Research Fund (ICRF). Israel has become a cornerstone for science and technology and is where some of the best and brightest scientists in the world are conducting groundbreaking research that is making a difference in the fight against cancer. 

To date, ICRF has funded over 2,800 grants totaling more than $98 million to scientists at leading Israeli institutions and we are currently the largest nongovernmental funder of cancer research in Israel. Over the years, research funded by ICRF has been instrumental in the development of breakthrough FDA-approved drugs such as Gleevec, Doxil and Velcade. These drugs have had a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of cancer patients around the world! 

ICRF's annual Tower of Hope Gala is on October 30, 2024 in Wheeling, Illinois. This is our largest fundraiser of the year and its success is critical to ensuring that every deserving cancer research project in Israel is funded.
