I am aiming to raise $4,000 in celebration of my recent 40th birthday! If I reach my goal by 3/31/23 you can witness me in a good ol’ POLAR PLUNGE into Lake George on April 2nd! We can even sing the secret song!

I am fortunate to have spent 14 consecutive summers at YMCA Camp Chingachgook starting at the age of 9 after losing my mother. Chingachgook allowed me positive outlets to grieve, understand caring relationships, an ability to establish the foundation of who I am today and provided me opportunities to grow into a leader.

I am grateful to have spent many of those summers at camp with my younger sister, as campers and counselors. We learned of Chingachgook from our grandfather who was a counselor as a teen, long before girls were even invited to attend camp in 1976.

I’ve made lifelong friends from all over the world while running around the 200 acres of camp...it is a place where "friendships grow and never die"...

I am honored to serve on the Chingachgook Advisory Council and Alumni Committee today, continuing to make a difference through volunteerism.

My goal is to raise funds that will allow young people this incredible opportunity to experience all that Chingachgook has to offer!

Chingachgook is #MoreThanAPlace.  I’m going to do my best to educate you on just how magical it is.

Summer camp can change a child’s life and we love welcoming campers to our Camp family! In everything we do, we believe in fostering growth and passion in an accepting community steeped in tradition. For over 100 years, we’ve provided campers from around the world the opportunity to experience the magic of camp, with the perfect setting on the shores of Lake George, in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains.

Today, the need for financial assistance is growing for children and families that rely on our programs. With your help, we can work to ensure camp magic is available for all current and future Chingachgook kids - because we are stronger together. At the root of our camp programs is our belief that every day at Chingachgook offers the perfect setting for character development, building confidence and independence, making lasting friendships, and providing a safe place for kids to be kids. Help us provide scholarships so that camp can be a reality for all campers this summer.
