It’s time to get rolling! As you probably know, we partner with Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS) to provide school supplies for students in need by participating in the annual Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive. This year, Stuff The Bus will be a virtual fundraiser! Instead of accepting school supply donations, we are creating a team to raise money so CIS has the funds to purchase school supplies, uniforms and technology for students in need.  While we're doing things a bit differently this year, our commitment to providing free school supplies to underserved students remains the same.

I’d love for you to join me in spreading the word about Stuff The Bus by joining our team as a fundraising champion! Kids need us now more than ever, and I’d love to have you as part of my team to make this campaign a success. We are going to have a lot of fun on Team ____ and we'll be helping kids succeed while we're doing it! Here are the details:

What: Raise funds for the Stuff The Bus School Supply Drive

When: It starts today! We will be asking for support throughout the summer in preparation for the new 2020-2021 school year.

How Can You Help? Registering to be part of team ________ is EASY. Go to stuffthebus.cissa.org. click on “Register as Team or Fundraiser”, then select “Join a Team” and follow the directions.

The bigger we grow our team, the bigger impact we can make for kids. If we get big enough, we could collect enough funds to purchase essential supplies for an entire high need school! I'm hoping that you'll accept my challenge as a team member to raise money. Every dollar counts!

Subject: Join Me In Collecting Supplies for Students In Need!

I’m excited to announce that this summer we are partnering with Communities In Schools of San Antonio to raise funds to provide students in need with school supplies, technology, and uniforms they need.  

Communities In Schools of San Antonio (CIS) is a nonprofit that connects students with caring adults to help them succeed. Their efforts are focused on the serving at-risk children in our community and across 100 schools in San Antonio. The children and their families need help dealing with the complex and stressful issues that they are faced with, so CIS supports them by connecting them with resources during difficult times. CIS can only continue to help these families with our support through initiatives like Stuff The Bus.

With support from others in our community, CIS connects students with resources and relationships to help them during difficult times.
