I’m excited to announce that this summer (Insert Company or Team Name) is partnering with Communities In Schools of Central Texas to raise funds for students in our community who need supplies for the upcoming school year.
The mission of CIS is to empower students to succeed in school and achieve in life by connecting them with caring adults. This transformative relationship helps students gain access to individual and group counseling, tutoring services, and basic needs support for themselves and their families. When children have the tools they need to overcome barriers like poverty, hunger, and poor mental health, they can unlock their potential and go on to not just survive, but thrive.
CIS serves 100 elementary, middle, and high schools in the Central Texas area, helping students and their families navigate the complex and stressful issues that they are facing. With initiatives like the Ready for School supply drive, CIS can ensure our in-school staff has the necessary resources to meet the unique basic needs requests on their campuses, including supplies like pencils, notebooks, clothing/uniforms, and more.
I’d love for you to join me in spreading the word about the CIS Ready for School Drive by joining my team as a fundraising champion or sharing our team page with your network! The past two years have been exceptionally challenging for CIS families, and our students need us now more than ever. With you as part of my team, we are sure to make this campaign a success. We are going to have a lot of fun and we'll be helping kids succeed while we're doing it! Here are the details:
