About 11 years ago I came to CityTeam Men's Shelter broken physically and in spirit. I had been suffering from several years of homelessness and couch surfing, and about 15 years of drug and alcohol addiction. I lost everything. Some of you may know my story, and have a perfect picture of who I was before coming to CityTeam, and others may have known me before my addiction. Today, I am neither of those men. I am a husband, and father and have allowed God to transform my life into a new creation, and CityTeam was my home during this transformation and equipped me with so many valuable tools to not only stay sober, but, to help others in need as well, by working the steps and through discipleship.
Today I serve alongside with seven other great coworkers helping men and families find hope. We will house about 60+ men in the residential recovery program, and about 56 men in the men’s shelter. Every meal, shower, and fresh set of clean clothes is provided by donors such as you.
Our goal for this fundraiser is to raise $20,000. My personal goal is to raise $2,000. With your help and sharing my page I believe that we can accomplish this together. Please consider partnering with me today and lets save a life together.
