Nisi Shawl is an award-winning author of science fiction, fantasy, and horror. They also make delectable, unique, and magical teas. Spend time with Nisi learning how they buy, dry, cut, stir, and steep the best cup of tea. Join Nisi at the home of board member Susan Gossman in Queen Ann.
Includes a signed copy of Nisi's book Everfair.
From their Tor.com article, Nisi describes their process. “I classify myself as a tea lover rather than a connoisseur because the recipes for my blends are based on personal experiences and the emotions they arouse, not on knowledge. When I combine camellia leaves with heaps of flowers and pineapple pieces and bits of twice-baked vanilla beans, I do so with my heart as much as with my head.”

They edit reviews for The Cascadia Subduction Zone, a literary quarterly from Aqueduct Press.
