CLARION WEST AUCTION: HOW TO GET STARTED

From Your Computer: 

  1. Click the LOG IN or REGISTER button in the upper right corner of the page to log in or create your auction account. (This is different from your write-a-thon account!)
  2. If you have already registered, but did not immediately create an account, the system may have already assigned you a password - simply select "forgot my password" and use the same email that you used for registration.
  3. You can watch a short video tutorial here. 
  4. Once you're logged in, you can update your payment information, update your account information, and start bidding! 
  5. Note: The software is phasing out the option to log in with Apple, Google, Facebook, and ticket codes. You may not be able to use these methods to log into this site.

From Your Phone: 

  1. After you have registered for the event online, you can download the givi app to your iPhone or Android Phone. 
  2. Use the same email & password you used on your computer. Forgot your password or didn't create it at registration? Simply select "forgot my password" and use the same email that you used for registration.
  3. You can watch a short video tutorial here. 
  4. Once you're logged in, you can set up your bidding profile on your phone to get alerts, find your items, and win the packages you want!
  5. Note: The software is phasing out the option to log in with Apple, Google, Facebook, and ticket codes. You may not be able to use these methods to log into the app.

HOW TO BID:

  1. Search for packages by name or number by choosing a category in the menu.
  2. The system is set to the traditional auction method and will immediately bid the full amount indicated by you when bidding.
    Example: An item has a bid increment of $5, and the current price is $10. John enters a bid of $50, he will become the winning bidder and sets the new price of the item at $50.
  3. To “watch” a package, select the heart icon on the package.
  4. You can adjust your notification settings from the phone app, but may need to check back to the auction frequently if you're checking from your computer! 
  5. To get back to the main screen, click the Auction tab on the left.
  6. To view the packages you are bidding on, click your name in the upper right corner.
