1. How do I sign up for a team?

At registration, you'll have the option of selecting "Join as an Individual" or to "Join or Start a Team."  Select "Join or Start a Team" and then look for the team you want to be a part of or, select "Start a New Team" from the bottom-right corner. Complete your registration as prompted! When setting up a new team, you'll be able to set the fundraising goal for your whole team, invite others to join your team, and create a team fundraising page from your Fundraising Dashboard.

2. I don't see the team I'm looking for — Can I start my own?

Yes! You can join any team listed or start your own when following the system prompts. You can search for any team or team captain in the search bar of the "Join a Team" prompt.   

3. How do I invite the rest of my team?

After registering for a team or creating a team, you will be directed to your Fundraising Dashboard. You can go to your team's dashboard by selecting the "Team Fundraising" icon from the "My Fundraising Tools" menu at the top right of your dashboard. From the team menu, scroll down to the middle section, where you will find the "Ask Others To Join" button. You can also send a custom email by choosing "Share Event" from the dashboard menu. Choose one of three existing templates or create your own to invite others! Invite your classmates, create a workplace team, or get your whole family involved!

4. Will I have my own page if I'm on a team?

Yes! Teams have a team fundraising page and goal, but individuals can still have their own fundraising/writer page and goals. If you're the team captain, you'll have lots of resources to share your team page and goals!   

5. How will I know if someone donated to my team?

You can check your team page to see how donations are going and who has donated to the team. You can also set up email notifications to receive alerts whenever someone donates through your page. To set up email notifications, go to "My Registration" and update your permissions.
