Across the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley and throughout British Columbia, acts of local love have transformed communities during the COVID-19 pandemic. People from all walks of life stepped UP to help isolated seniors get life-saving prescriptions, ensure single parents struggling to make ends meet had food for their children and those struggling with depression and anxiety had someone to support them. Thousands of people were helped during this unprecedented time thanks to the generosity of donors like you. But we have more work to do.
An ever-increasing number of families and individuals find themselves economically challenged and socially isolated.
United Way helps build safer, healthier, more inclusive communities by connecting people in need to the supports and services available to them in their own neighbourhood. We believe local love is the key to creating the kinds of communities we all want to live in during a pandemic and beyond. That’s where you come in.
Your support of ClimbUP this year will help sustain our work and ensure that our most vulnerable neighbours are able to access the vital supports and services they need now and into the future.
Put our local love into action. Register, fundraise or support a ClimbUP participant today!
