HERA's annual fundraiser! A two part event with a climb in the morning/afternoon, followed by an evening gala with live and silent auctions, live music, local food, local beer, wine, cocktails, games, guest speakers, amazing people, and more!
Proceeds fund cutting edge ovarian cancer research grants to develop early detection tests, treatments, and cures.

CLIMB
The day begins 9am, at indoor climbing gym Ubergrippen, 8610 E 21st Ave, Denver, CO 80238. There are all sorts of activities and classes (see schedule below) - all are optional and you may come and go as you like! Want to learn how to climb? Maybe check out a new gym? Or haven't climbed in ages and just want to come and have fun? This event is open to beginning climbers through professionals!
Ticket includes: coffee, gear rental needed to climb, light lunch, goodie bag filled with items from our sponsors, open climbing, optional yoga and techniques classes, and more.

- 9:00am - Check-in/Registration & Gear rental
- 9:00am - HERA route opens. Donate to climb & win prizes at 1pm
- 9:30am - Yoga (1st come, 1st served, only 20 spots)
- 10:30am - Belay Clinic
- 11:00am - Lunch/Snacks arrive
- 11:30am - Techniques Clinic
- 1pm - HERA route raffle

EVENING GALA
The evening gala is filled with fun, fantastic people, and information, all benefitting ovarian cancer. Taking place on Saturday October 26th from 6pm - 9:30pm at Turnverein Dance Center 1570 N Clarkson St, Denver, CO 80218. . There will be a silent auction, live auction, games, giveaways, libations, local foods, live music, and more!

HERA & Climb4Life History
Rock climber Sean Patrick established HERA Ovarian Cancer Foundation as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2002. Based on her own experience with the lack of information and resources concerning the disease, Sean focused HERA on increasing funding and awareness.
Climb4Life is HERA's signature fundraising event that also began in 2002 by founder Sean Patrick while recovering from her 7th ovarian cancer surgery. Being an avid rock climber, she felt an event centered on rock climbing would present ovarian cancer in a different light and get more people involved in the cause.
Currently, it is an annual rock climbing event with an after-party! Not only is it a fundraiser, it's an inspirational event encouraging participants to go beyond their comfort zone, challenge their mental and physical capabilities, and push past the limitations we all place on ourselves. Expect climbing clinics, yoga, live music, food, drinks, silent and live auctions! Participate in as many or as few of the events as you like. Proceeds fund grants that we award to scientists with “outside the box” ideas investigating new directions in basic research, treatment, early detection, and prevention of ovarian cancer.
