Since 2020, I've had the honor of serving on the Project Place board -- a non-profit organization promoting hope, opportunity, and community for low-income individuals. Project Place offers a "hand up" -- not a hand-out -- by providing clients with the skills, education, and resources to break the cycle of poverty and homelessness. Throughout the pandemic, I've committed my time and care to this organization, and I'm so excited to finally have this opportunity to share the magic of Project Place with my family and friends.
This is a family-friendly event, open to all. Even if climbing stairs isn't your thing, there will be other activities to entertain. If you want to climb, we'll knock out 1,545 stairs to represent each homeless adult currently living in Greater Boston. You're guaranteed to have fun -- come on, kid, it's Fenway! -- but seeing how easy it is to make a difference in another person's life will leave its mark on you, too.
