I will be taking part in the Project Place Climb for a Cause at Fenway Park! With my team Sweet CaroClimb, we will be climbing 1,545 stairs—one for every adult currently experiencing homelessness in Boston.
I will try and climb all those steps... realisticaly as a devoted frequenter of elevators around the globe I don't know how many steps that is... But I will give it a good try!
We will be raising funds for Project Place’s mission to end homelessness in Greater Boston. Project Place is a great charity that works with individuals to provide the skills, education and resources needed to obtain and sustain employment and housing.
To give some tangebile costs: $100 provides a month of commuting costs for a client’s new job, $250 purchases a new set of professional clothing and shoes for a client to use at their next job interview, and $500 covers a full set of household staples like kitchen utensils, cookware, and plates for a client moving from transitional to permanent housing.
