There is truly no cause closer to my heart and constantly on my mind than the fight against homelessness — back home in my community of Hartford, as well as my new home in Boston. I’m fundraising for Project Place because I believe in their mission to end homelessness in Boston, and because I firmly believe there’s never too many steps between any one of us and the reality of homelessness. Project Place offers life-changing resources and opportunities through their job-readiness programming and I want to support their work as much as I possibly can. Participating in Climb for a Cause over the past four years has been one of my most meaningful experiences and means the world to me every year. Together, we will climb 2,122 steps in Fenway Park, one step for every individual experiencing homelessness in Boston.
