Our five year old daughter, Amelia, lives with a rare condition called Collagen 6 Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD), a progressive disorder that affects muscle strength and mobility.

For Amelia, this means her muscles tire more quickly, her joints can be tight, and she faces extra hurdles like scoliosis. But if you’ve ever met Amelia, you know that her spark, determination, and smile shine brighter than any diagnosis. She takes on therapies, dance, gymnastics, and daily adventures with the kind of positivity that inspires everyone around her.

We’re raising funds to support Cure CMD, a leading organization driving research, awareness, and hope for families like ours. Every donation, big or small, directly impacts this important cause. Cure CMD is a U.S. registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that focuses solely on CMD and our donations will be allocated towards her subtype-specific research, treatments, and support.

There is no cure yet for Collagen 6 conditions, but there is hope. Research is moving forward, and families like ours are working hard to support it.
