Why College Mentors?

I am excited to be apart of College Mentors for Kids for my 4th year.  This year I will be serving as a mentor and the VP of Fundraising.  College Mentors for Kids is a wonderful organization that provides amazing experiences for elementary school students who need it the most. Little buddies who are part of the program are paired into one-on-one mentoring relationships with college students. These matches are for the entire year, allowing for strong bonds to be created.   I am excited to spend my second year mentoring my little buddy Dae'la.  

Little buddies that are apart of College Mentors for Kids come to Anderson University's campus every Wednesday to participate in an activity day. During the activity, students are focused on learning about cultural diversity, community service, or higher education. These activities provide valuable hands-on learning experiences for students and they are lots of fun.
