It is my goal to raise $170 for Ohio State’s chapter of College Mentors for Kids. The funds go towards expenses such as bussing to ensure each child can participate in the program at no charge to them.
Why College Mentors?
College Mentors for Kids is an on-campus student organization that partners with Columbus elementary schools to provide mentor services. Each college mentor is paired with a "little buddy" sharing similar interests. Once a week, the buddies are taken to Ohio State's campus where various interactive activities are set up that center around the organization's three pillars: Higher Educations and Careers, Culture and Diversity, and Community Service. The program creates a mutually beneficial relationship where both the mentors and buddies can foster a sense of civic responsibility.
I have the pleasure of being apart of such an amazing program which allows me to make an impact on the kids of our future, but I can't do all of this without your help. Please consider making a donation to help me meet my fundraising goal of $170 for the school year! Your contribution allows us to continue this program on our campus so that we can make an even greater impact on these kids.
