It's hard to believe that I'm well into my third year at UD. That also means that I'm beginning my third year with College Mentors for Kids! This organization has been a part of my entire college experience, and I couldn't be more thankful for the opportunities, friendships and memories made with College Mentors. This year, I have the chance to become even more involved as I take on the role of Vice President of Programming.

For those who aren't familiar with what we do, College Mentors for Kids matches local elementary buddies with college students who can serve as a positive role model and can help instill the values of education and reminding them that there are countless opportunities for their futures. 

Many of our buddies have additional challenges such as coming from low-income families or those with little family history of higher education. Our mentors don't tutor or even insist that college is the way to go; they simply stand in as an extra supporter and motivator for a child that may be lacking in those at home. 

We can't do any of this without your help though! Gifts from generous donors like you make all the difference in continuing and even expanding our program so that we can help more kids and leave a bigger impact.
