Hello everyone! My name is Amanda Laurinec and I am a current junior at Illinois State University majoring in early childhood education. This will be my third year being a mentor and I am so excited to announce it will be in person this year! College Mentors for Kids connects kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. I will be paired with a buddy and will work with them throughout the year. This program has produced so many unforgettable memories and I can not wait to make more. As much as I can help my little buddy grow they are helping me just as much and that is what makes this program so special.
