By investing in college students, College Mentors creates a generation of adults ready to give back to their communities. The program also makes sure elementary students realize their future brings opportunities around every corner-- and maybe down the street at their local college campus!

I was first introduced to College Mentors for Kids my freshman year at Indiana University as a mentor to a fourth grader from Fairview Elementary. Flash forward 10 years and I will be entering my sixth year working for the organization full time in Washington, DC. College Mentors transformed my life as a college student at IU, introducing me to a new profession in nonprofit work and exposing me to the community outside of my campus. My story is not unique, College Mentors for Kids provides transformational mentoring experiences for both college student mentors and the little buddies.
