Did you know that mentoring has the power to change lives? Research shows that children with mentors not only view themselves and their futures more positively, but they also achieve greater success in school, in their communities, and later in the workplace. Growing up isn't easy, but having a mentor makes the journey a little smoother.

That's why I volunteer with College Mentors for Kids, where we connect kids to college students through weekly on-campus activities designed to inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. As the President of our chapter, I have the privilege of supporting our work with 115 incredible kids from the greater Indianapolis community.

Through our program, we explore careers, learn about different cultures, and give back through community service—all while creating meaningful connections that benefit both the kids and mentors alike. This program is a rewarding way for me to give back to my community, while also building important leadership skills.
