As the Vice President of Programming for College Mentors for Kids, I love the role because it allows me to make a direct impact on students' lives while fostering a culture of mentorship and learning. I oversee the general managers to ensure the program runs smoothly, coordinating with school partners to align activities with educational goals and ensuring the mentors are well-prepared. I also act as a direct point of contact for parents, providing them with updates and addressing any concerns. This position requires effective communication and teamwork, as I collaborate with various individuals to deliver meaningful experiences for the kids. The opportunity to help shape the program's success and see the positive influence on students is incredibly rewarding.
