I am sure everyone in their life time has had a mentor and or someone they look up to and trust. That person probably made a pretty significant impact on your life even to this day. College Mentors for Kids at Illinois State connects kids to college students through weekly activities that inspire growth, confidence, and brighter futures. 

Since I was a kid I wanted to be a teacher and my thoughts on that never wavered. As soon as I heard about this program I knew that this was something that I wanted to be a part of. I am so excited to start this year with my little buddy as we get to know each other and complete fun acativites on a weekly basis! I know through this program I will be growing just as much as my little buddy. 

I am so ready to start this new leadership oppurtunity and help the community this semseter but I need your help. Please consider making a donantion to help me reach my fundrasinging goal this year so that College Mentors for Kids can continue to put on these amazing activities and countinue to show the power of mentoring!
