We want to express my heartfelt thanks for taking a moment to visit our fundraising page.
Our son Knox was diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (in utero) July 20th, 2017. Approximately 1,000 babies in the US are born with HLHS each year. Knox has since had 3 successful open heart surgeries - the Hybrid (Dec 2017), the Glenn (May 2018) and the Fontan (July 2021). Knox's surgeries were all performed by Dr. Mark Galantowicz at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. Knox is now a thriving 6 year old and we are thankful each and every day!
Our commitment to making a difference has led us to participate in the Congenital Heart Walk each year, an event that carries immense significance for us. It's not just a walk; it's a stride toward changing lives. This endeavor is all about supporting The Children's Heart Foundation and their crucial mission - advancing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of congenital heart defects through groundbreaking research.
Together, we can raise the funds essential to drive forward life-saving research. Your contribution holds immeasurable value to us.
